Coentrao's bench Gaffe

Fabio Coentrao took his place on Real Madrid bench this week, only to be informed by teammates that he had not been selected in the matchday squad.
The Portuguese full-back travelled with the team out to Catalonia this weekend for their eventual 1-1 draw at Espanyol Saturday evening , but was left out of the 18 mens squad.
However no one seemed to have told the 25 years old, until he sat down on the bench. With Karim Benzema and company in hysterics, it was down to Iker Casillas to point out to Coentrao that he had not been picked and that he seat was in the stands for the game.
Seeming to have no idea of his mistake , an embarrassed Coentrao then checked with Aitor Karanka before making his way up to join the like of Sergio Ramos and Mezut Ozil upstairs. Cristiano Ronaldo later come out to take the final sport on the bench.
